Your purchase enables sustainable employment for artisans living in remote areas of Indonesia, reducing migration to cities and allowing families to stay together.
Since 1990, SERRV International has partnered with artisans in Indonesia, providing a long-term trading partnership and interest-free advance payment for our orders. Through sales of their products, artisan groups receive training in financial and business skills, help with medical expenses, emergency disaster relief, school scholarships and loans. Artisans use raw materials from sustainably managed sources and support conservation projects, including tree planting.
Artisans in Indonesia use several techniques to create their variety of beautiful handcrafts, including carving, batik, ikat, filigree, and hand painting.
